About Us
Our Mission & Values
Our mission at The Oakley is to provide a beautiful event and gathering space that brings the tranquil and calming energy of the lake to life. We specialize in bringing people together for special celebrations and gatherings, both big and small, in a social environment where family and friends can enjoy each other’s company.
We are dedicated to connecting with the community through hosting various local charities and community events. In addition, we offer a small space for corporate gatherings and meetings. Our core values include sustainability, community involvement through local partnerships, celebration of life’s milestones, and promoting serenity through yoga events and mindfulness retreats surrounded by the peaceful lake.
Our Family
In turbulent times the Zubar family found community as their focus for their brand new passion project, the Oakley on the Lake. A modern venue just north of Atlanta in Gainesville, GA on Lake Lanier. The Zubar family always loved gathering their loved ones and in 2018 they bought and renovated a house on Lake Lanier.
From there their sights were set on bringing even more people to their oasis on the lake. In 2020, they acquired the neighboring lake property, and The Oakley on the Lake is scheduled to open its doors to guests and clients in early 2024.
